TiCi Double broken bustrens bit sweet iron

The TiCi bits are all specially developed for miniature horses, Shetland ponies and small ponies. So is this TiCi single jointed bustrens bit sweet iron.

A sweet iron bit can be recognized by its blue color. The mouthpiece is blue but the tips and rings are silver colored.
The sweet iron bits develop a kind of surface rust through contact with saliva from the horse's mouth or through humidity. This "rust" has a sweet taste which will naturally stimulate saliva production. The horse will foam more which in turn ensures better acceptance of the bit and which will lead to better relaxation.
A sweet iron bit is extremely suitable for horses and ponies that do not relax quickly or have difficulty accepting a normal stainless steel bit. These horses often have a somewhat drier mouth, which means that the bit is less accepted and therefore less comfortable in the mouth. The sweet iron bits can help with this.

A bustrens is a bit that has fixed rings and therefore lies stable in the mouth of your pony or horse. The reins or rein aids work directly because the rings cannot move separately from the mouthpiece. Bit rings are therefore not necessary with this bit.
The rings are in a D shape which makes them difficult to pull through the mouth and also puts light pressure on the cheeks of your pony or horse, which makes turning easier.

The mouthpiece consists of 3 parts, the middle part of which lies flat on the tongue. This bit therefore applies more pressure to the tongue, especially when using a rein or lead aid, compared to a single jointed bit for example. The thicker the middle part, the more pressure on the tongue. The TiCi bit has a relatively small and flat middle part, which means it applies little pressure and works very quietly.
